Ellenwood Equestrian Center

We pride ourselves on having a laid back atmosphere stressing fun, education and safety. Safety is paramount in all of our programs. Certified riding  helmets are required and provided for all riders ,adults as well as children, and when needed we provide footwear also. We keep a large selection of boots of different sizes; no gym shoes! All of our equipment is in good working order and our horses are used to small children. Most importantly, all activities are closely supervised by knowledgeable horse people.
 

We chose this location for it's close proximity to the in-town neighborhoods, hoping to reach children and adults who may otherwise not have a chance to enjoy horses and the outdoors. Too often horses are considered a sport for the rich; we are working to change that perception by offering extremely competitive rates and flexible schedules. Some students may decide to ride twice a week, some only once a month- we do not require prepayment or contracts. That and our great location, accessible from the city with little or no traffic will help to demystify the world of horses and riding and will make it
more available to all.
