FALL NEWS

Well to say it has been a very productive summer would be an understatement. We have done tons to the farm, Lynn and Leah have had a very successful showing season, I have managed to update the web page and I am adding new services to allow for more options for everyone so please take a minute to browse and see the new stuff. First the farm...We build some new footed paddocks to allow for the grass to really take root in the lower 40, sorry 4, lol I wish!  Anyway we are planting and we will be building new fence line for a cleaner safer turnout area. We also built a climbing wall primarily for the campers but I would encourage any adult who wishes to try to have at it. We have harness for everyone so all is well. We broke down and spent the money for a real farm tractor and it has been the best money ever spent. It really makes a difference with the footing and just general maintenance. I would encourage everyone to take a look at the less expensive Dirt Dog arena maintainer as it has really done wonders for the footing. Well there's a basic wrap up on the goings on here at the farm , now on to important matters....

We now have online PDF files for all camp information and release forms. They are available on the Camp Page for download.  We will still be glad to mail them out but this will afford people another option for this process. These are the latest from Adobe and can be downloaded, filled out on your computer and e-mailed or you can print them and mail them. To do them electronically the latest free edition of Acrobat Reader is needed and you just use the  typewriter  icon to fill them out.  Also because or the tremendous success with our camp program we will begin requiring a non-refundable deposit of 50.00 for all camp registrants. This is a simple  way to fairly place children in available slots throughout the camp season.  I am working with PayPal to allow for online payment as another option for campers and students. A small service fee is attached to all online transactions. Paypal is a work in progress that with any luck will be up and running in the next week or so. We will of course be available if any assistance is needed. Also we are happy to provide services exactly as before for anyone wishing to avoid computer transactions. Now on to the good stuff.......

Lynn and Leah have been having a fantastic dressage season and we are really hoping for great things in the next couple of months. Lynn has her thoroughbred Gary in great form and they have scored mid 60's in 1st level open to take high scores at the last 2 Chicopee shows. We are going to the last recognized show of the year at Chicopee to try to get two horses to Florida for the regionals this year. Leah has qualified for 2nd level on her Perch cross and is beginning her freestyle in an attempt to do both in Ocala. Her second horse, Shadowfax is coming along nicely and we are looking for great things from him in the coming years. Altogether dressage is alive and well in little Ellenwood Ga.
